Dr.Mikolaj Raszek

B.Sc. in Genetics and Ph.D. in Biochemistry.

I feel very passionate about this work because it was always an interest of mine, and was already the focus of my education. I was fascinated by the innovative technology of DNA sequencing, and its promise to reshape proactive and personalized medicine. When a friend was diagnosed with a very rare cancer, I felt even more motivated to make a difference. Unfortunately, my friend succumbed to cancer, but my hope is I can help others.

In my spare time, you can find me staying fit by hiking in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. When I’m trapped in the city, following the Oilers, or hanging out with my friends, is a great reprieve. (Anything to keep Dr. Ganz happy with my emotional well-being!)

How many times have you heard of someone dying of cancer or heart attack because the information was discovered too late? With Dr. Raszek, you have the opportunity to look at a crystal ball so you do not end up in that position. That crystal ball is your DNA.  You will learn how you can benefit the most from DNA testing and how to use such information to protect yourself and your family.

Discover how to Protect Your Health with DNA testing

Like a crystal ball, you can plan ahead using health information obtained from medical DNA testing

Do you know that with DNA testing you can:

  • Learn which medication will work for you

  • Learn what health conditions might affect you

  • Find out the risk of disease in future children

  • Leave valuable genetic medical history for multiple generations to use

Do you ever…

  • Wonder how best to protect one’s health pre-emptively?

  • Wonder how best to protect the health of the entire family?

  • Wish you could know if medication will work for you.

  • Wonder if a hereditary condition could be stopped in your family?

Here’s the secret…

DNA is the code that runs us. Unfortunately, we all have mutations in our code. DNA testing can inform you about those mutations and how they relate to your personal health.

Medical DNA testing is already practiced around the globe. Canada has yet to fully capture the benefits of this technology - until now!

There are many DNA tests out there and very few understand the proper medical use of this technology. Dr. Raszek puts this cutting-edge technology to use for you.

Let me explain:

You buy health insurance to protect yourself, but what if you could buy insurance that could tell you if health problems were coming?

Best case you could prevent these problems, worst case you could be fully prepared for them.

This allows for increased attention to health areas that otherwise could go unnoticed.

You are also related to your family through your DNA; Your personal medical DNA test can inform your immediate family of potential risks,

and be of benefit to your future generations.

Be Proactive, Take Action:

  • Select lifestyle choices to support you in preventing health problems associated with your genetics.

  • Gain earlier notice and extra time to prepare, for not just personal health, but also personal wealth.

  • Understand your reaction to medications and avoid those that will not work for you.

  • Align your financial investments (insurance, personal directive, etc.) according to your health predispositions

  • Prevent inherited conditions in your future children

  • Leave your DNA information as a valuable asset that can benefit a family for multiple generations. This becomes a catalog of health for all closely related families for many years to come.

  • DNA is a repository of information assembled through the history of our ancestors, which can be linked to many future descendants.
